Petting Farm & Treewalk Aventure

Don't just come for the movie, make it a family night out, date night, or a night to yourself! You can add BOTH the Petting Farm and Treewalk Adventure to your drive-in experience for just $15 per person.

Petting Farm: Our friends and hosts at Hunt Club Farm are opening the use of their Petting Farm for the kids and kids at heart. Home to dozens of friendly critters, this unique petting farm offers families the chance to get up close and personal with its goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, guinea hens, geese, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, and more. Feed cups are available for an additional $6 per cup.

Treewalk Adventure: Hunt Club Farm is also opening the use of their Treewalk Adventure course, a family-friendly adventure for all ages. Make your way through the treetops with connected nettled bridges, treehouses, slides, and more!

**Hunt Club Farm’s Season Pass is not eligible for Petting Farm & Treewalk Adventure admission during the Dreamland Drive-In event.

**Petting Farm & Treewalk Adventure tickets are valid only for use during the Dreamland Drive-In event.

Food Trucks, Vendors, and More

In Support of The DeGood Foundation

100% of the proceeds from Dreamland Drive-In benefit The DeGood Foundation's programs, including the Imagination Library. In partnership with Dolly Parton, every month, The DeGood Foundation mails free, brand-new, age-appropriate books to children enrolled in the program on the Virginia Peninsula. Proceeds from the event will help the program expand its coverage area to get more books into the hearts and minds of more children in Hampton Roads. Learn more about the Imagination Library here.

One Vehicle Ticket provides a child with one year of books from the Imagination Library.

Dreamland Drive-In FAQ’s

Don’t see your question listed? Email us at hello@degoodfoundation.org or send us a message on Facebook.

  • For the “One Vehicle Admission” ticket, do I need to purchase a ticket for each person in my vehicle?

    • Nope! Only one ticket is required per vehicle. For safety, please only have the legally permitted number of passengers inside your vehicle. Virginia Beach City Police are on-site.

  • For the Petting Farm & Treewalk Adventure tickets, do I need to purchase a ticket for each person?

    • Yes. Petting Farm & Treewalk Adventure tickets are per-person, not per-vehicle. They are a separate attraction.

  • How will I get my ticket?

    • After your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email from Givebutter, our ticketing partner. Your tickets will be attached as a PDF.

  • What if I don't get a confirmation or ticket email?

    • Please email us at hello@degoodfoundation.org with your name. We can re-send the email or manually email you the tickets you purchased.

  • Do I need to print my tickets?

    • Nope! When you check-in at the event, you can have your tickets ready on your mobile device. We can also check you in by your name or order number.

  • How will I see the screen?

    • We bring a 40-foot inflatable screen to ensure everyone can see clearly. We also distance the vehicles to ensure social distancing and clear visibility of the screen.

  • How will I hear the audio?

    • We have two ways to tune-in. Tune your car’s radio to 100.3 FM to listen from inside your vehicle. We also have speakers at the event to ensure you can still hear outside of your vehicle.

  • What food options are available?

    • We work with a variety of local food trucks and vendors to join us at the event. Each vendor donates a portion of their proceeds to benefit The DeGood Foundation. These vendors vary for each event showing.

  • I have dietary restrictions/allergies. Can I bring outside food?

    • Absolutely!

  • Can I watch from my trunk/tailgate?

    • Absolutely! You can park with the windshield facing the screen or open your tailgate and watch from the back. The volunteers directing parking will ask you which way you’d like to be parked.

  • Can I watch from outside of my car?

    • Absolutely! During the warmer months, people often bring blankets or chairs to sit in the grass during the movie. If you do this, please ensure you are distanced from other parties for safety. If you are next to your car, you do not need to wear a face covering. If you leave your parking spot, you are required to wear a mask or face covering.

  • What if I don't wear a mask or face covering?

    • If you do not wear a mask, you must remain inside your vehicle at all times during the event (no restroom, food trucks, petting farm, or treewalk adventure). If you are outside of your vehicle (with the exception of sitting in a chair or on a blanket next to your vehicle) and do not have a face covering, you will be asked by a volunteer or staff to put one on. If you do not comply, you will be asked to leave the event and escorted off the property by Virginia Beach City Police who monitor the event. If you are asked to leave, you are not eligible for a refund.

  • What is the refund policy?

    • Our ticketing partner, Givebutter, has a strict no-refund policy. However, we are happy to entertain refund requests as we understand all situations are different. Please note: We cannot issue refunds once the event has begun parking. We also cannot refund service fees charged by Givebutter. Refunds will arrive back to the original method of payment. If you need to make a refund request, please email us at hello@degoodfoundation.org. If you were asked to leave the event by staff, volunteers, or Virginia Beach City Police, you are not eligible to receive a refund.

  • What happens if it rains at the event?

    • If the screen has been set up and the movie has begun, the event will continue unless our movie production partner deems it to be unsafe for their equipment and/or our guests. If the event has already begun, we are unable to issue a refund.

  • What happens if there’s rain or bad weather in the forecast?

    • We work closely with our production partner and Hunt Club Farm one week prior to the event to monitor the weather prior to each showing. If inclement weather is in the forecast, we may make the decision to postpone the showing. This will be communicated via email, our website, and the Facebook event page. If you are unable to attend the new showing date, we are happy to issue you a refund. As per our refund policy, once the new event date has begun parking, we cannot issue a refund.

  • Why do you not show Disney movies?

    • Disney has a strict no-fundraiser policy for their movie licenses. For this reason, we are legally not able to screen Disney films at Dreamland Drive-in as the event is a fundraiser for The DeGood Foundation.
